Si hablamos de clàsicos garageros, la historia nunca olvidarà a "Little Girl".La canciòn fue inicialmente rechazada hasta por los perros, hasta que la discografica Hush Records decide lanzarla como un single hacia finales de 1965
El Hit fue escalando posiciones, en un primer momento a nivel local, hasta alcanzar el puesto Nro 10 a nivel nacional.
De esta manera el grupo consigue la difusiòn y obviamente el dinero necesario para grabar su LP.
El grupo en cuestion era The Syndicate Of Sound, oriundos de California y formados solo dos años antes del lanzamientos del disco.
La banda estaba liderada por el cantante y guitarrista Don Baskin, pero estos detalles son minimos comparados con la importancia que tomo "Little Girl" en su momento, el unico hit que la banda logro en toda su carrera y eso amigos es mucho mas que demasiado.

this band was from San Jose, CA - just up the road from where i grew up. they seemed to be more popular nationally with "Little Girl" than they were were locally. Still, that song is one of the great garage rock songs and the band really was pretty good.
One of the best garage-punk songs EVER, which is really saying a lot. "Little Girl" is just a great song. The Dead Boys covered it (not too badly) years later.
