Drake Levin, lead guitarist for Paul Revere & the Raiders during the quintet's hit-making prime in the mid-1960s, died Saturday at his home in San Francisco after a long battle with cancer, according to his longtime friend and former Raiders bandmate Phil Volk. He was 62.

Thats So Sad. A part of me died too because I loved the Raiders..seen 'em on TV when I was a kid and also used to hide under the covers in my bed and listen to the Raiders and others with my little transistor radio.Sorry to hear about Drake,regards,John.

Drake Levin was really great musician. I am very sad about his death. I was suffering in cancer.
